NIU beats MAC leader Western Michigan 42-28 to get to 5-4. Miami OH won yesterday to also get to 5-4. This schedule is loaded and puts the SEC to shame. Week in and week out Notre Dame can lose to anybody on their schedule. That’s how good it is.

All's I can say is, the way things are going, we're going to make the playoff. And I'm glad we lost to them. Makes it even sweeter. Because that was some adversity, that we had to be overcome. So all hail the Wolfpack, or whatever they call themselves. They were the crucible, that molded this team into steel!
