As mad as I was after the game last night, the more I reflect on the season, the more I realize this is as satisfied as I've been in a season outside of 2012 as I can remember, maybe even more than 2005.
Had I come on this board in August and said these would happen, what would people have predicted?:
1) we would play 4 games against teams that finished with 10 wins. 3 of those games were on the road.
2) injuries would happen to: Zaire, Folston, Smythe, J. Jones, Tranquil and Sebastian that would end their seasons before the end of 3 games. Also add in Procise, Onawalu, KVR, Bars, Cage would also miss games.
3) for the Stanford game the starters would include Kizer at QB and Adams at RB. Throw in a freshman TE and kicker?
I think had I heard that I would've said 8-4 at best.
