Good ol Tommy Rees

1,000,000,000,000 percent agree. I fire him on the field after the game. Don't even let his dumb ass into the locker room.

Some will say it was bad execution, ok I will give you that. But don't call DUMB ASS plays and put your players in bad situations. FIRE HIM...NOW!!!!!!!

He's a moron I don't even blame Buchner he coaches like he played reckless.
A moron???
Give me a break...what are your coaching credentials?
Where were you during the game?
Until you have been in that position, either playing or coaching, you have no reason to talk.

You sir are out of your league. I love the coaching credentials. Where are yours to say the paly call was not moronic? It was an ALL TIME TERRIBLE CALL. Now the game itself, he did a pretty good job other than running Tyree so many times.

He reminds me of my experience with him as our QB. Love/hate relationship. I do think he improved as the season went on though. I feel he's done enough to come back next year. But yes, I acknowledge he's called some bone headed plays.

Heistand turning a dreadful OL into an average OL did that. Although, you wouldn’t rate our OL as even average after watching today’s game.

Rees just keeps on winning while getting shat on by ND fans as a player and as a coach ... lol

The frustration with the OL today was more scheme related. Particularly, in the first half they did a terrible job picking up blitzes. The run game take longer to get going but they did get it going.

Kelly style!
Great insight by these posters .

Even with the mistakes, by the game’s end, the offens looked completely unstoppable and South Carolina was on its heels for the last 40 minutes of the game.

I don't know, I thought that was a great offensive performance. As much as I have ambivalence about Rees, I'm inclined in my layman's opinion, and with my untrained eye to consider him quite the playcaller.

And yet another meaningless, and yet also awesome bowl game. ND and SCar both totally delivered another great, enjoyable bowl game to watch. As far as exhibition games go, it was a humdinger.....

The bowls are essentially non-conference games slightly less meaningful than those during the regular season but more enjoyable for both players and fans.

That pass in the end zone was the 2 worst play call I have ever seen. Literally running at will. Granted , Buchner never saw the defender. But no way should a pass play should have been called. Even a fg gives them 2 scores with 7 plus minutes left. Just a stupid play to run in that situation. For the record the worst call of all time was the Seattle Seahawks throwing a pass that was intercepted. You need a little more than a yard to score and win the SB. Marshawn Lynch is the back. What the hell were you thinking? Rees play call that resulted in the 100 yard pick six is a close second.
