10 days? 3 days! You know it’s late August when we have a 50 post thread about the temperature! Lol
I think we’re all just dehydrated from a lack of important topics. Thankfully we’re only 10 days out from plentiful topics for 5 months.
"sitting for long stretches"...tell that to a defense that has to go back on the field quickly many times a game because the offense can't move the ball.Sure it's a thing. So is sitting for long stretches, resting for long stretches, and hydrating as much as you need.
I’m in Tuscany on a wine tour, that’s my bad. 😂10 days? 3 days!
Way way overplayed."sitting for long stretches"...tell that to a defense that has to go back on the field quickly many times a game because the offense can't move the ball.
High temps, humidity, pads, helmet, hydration, weight, all factor in to this. Every player is different with their physical make-up, some handle it better than others. It is a BIG deal.
Big enough deal that Freeman was thanking God and divine intervention for bringing the heatwave to South Bend this week. He made a point of saying it is extremely important for the players to practice in, and experience this level of heat before this game. The near two week emphasis on hydrating in and out of practice regardless of temp is interesting as well."sitting for long stretches"...tell that to a defense that has to go back on the field quickly many times a game because the offense can't move the ball.
