Why would Scott Frost be a great hire for a pressure cooker like ND? What's his resume as a HC? How much experience as a HC does he have? He is still an uncertain commodity in my opinion.
This needs to be stated by the university, and quickly. This notion that ND is playing for championships is false.

Yes I am. Just to educate you a little bit. Purdue has been beyond putrid since Darryl Hazel took over. Well even before that under Danny Hope. Brohm took a pathetic purdue team and has them 6-6 going to a bowl game. Hazel won 9 games in 4 years at Purdue. So yes that is quite the accomplishment for a coach not having "his guys". Funny bk has had his guys for 5 years now and we get the same ole shit - 8 -9 wins a year.
I don’t think it’s hilarious at all. Records matter for sure, but in context. Brohm has Purdue playing tough minded disciplined fundamental football and six wins there is a significant achievement. Look at the records Ara and Holtz had the season before being hired by ND. That said, I agree that Kelly was a better gamble at the time of his hire than Brohm would be today. That doesn’t make Brohm a laughable consideration if ND was looking to replace Kelly this year, which they’re not.

Having now read another thread started by the poster in question and seeing his responses, I have a better appreciation for your post here. If Kelly were to leave this or next year, guys like Brohm and Campbell and Morehead are some of the more realistic options, and Kelly’s resume at the time of his hire was superior to each of these guys. That said, these guys would be on my list for serious consideration.
As a perk, offer to fund a county jail extension next to the Gug so the fine citizen/athletes he brings in will feel right at home!!
Well we've seen your opinion enough...Frost is young, energetic and hungry. His team hasn't folded in November and his kids respect him. This program needs a shot in the arm and someone like Frost or Campbell can deliver.
Brohm is likeable, Kelly is not. Got it? Kinda like ndf65 vs your posts. Recruits and intelligent posters know this.

Why would any school say something like that? There are schools that should have a parade for going .500, and they never say they are playing for anything less than championships. So a school that, with a little luck, might have its third 10 win season in the last six years is going to come out and say we are not playing for championships? Bizarre.
