Is it set up that even if the 12 seed wins they play Utah? I would think lowest remaining seed plays 1 seed, next lower plays 2 seed, and so forth.

I think the projected selections are interesting: 4 SEC, 3 Big Ten, 2 ACC the automatic Big XII and G5 champs plus ND. A key game is Texas at Michigan on Sept 7. If Michigan wins that, the Wolverines will get in and Texas will too. Then we'll have 4 SEC, 4 Big Ten, and the automatic champs of the ACC, Big XII and G5 plus ND. That fourth Big Ten slot will come out of the hide of the ACC.
