The flopping and complaining is horrible. The calling a foul cuz this guy breathed on me is horrible. Like baseball, it's also lacking parity. Hard for small market teams to compete.

My hometown team LA Dodgers just won the World Series. I did not miss one pitch in the playoffs, and tuned into every regular season game.

I haven't watched a game in over 15 years. As I say "There's no "D" in "NBA".

It's all about guys that are dunking (even though they're 6-5 or better, like that's something amazing) and staring the other guy down. It's playground basketball at it's best.

Anytime Magic Lakers and Bird's Celtics met it was a battle. These games today are jokes. Refs are so biased toward star players and call any foul real or imagined. Detroit's Isaiah club vs. MJ Bulls was always gonna be a contest. Even stats are inflated in games today.

I don’t believe it’s ridiculous. 82 games a year plus playoffs is a lot to ask, and if you want your main guys healthy in April and May, you have to be smart about keeping people healthy.

Not surprised at all!!! Started watching the Celtics in the 60’s. Lost interest after Bird, Magic, MJ etc. retired. Didn’t even watch an entire game due the Celtics run to #18….hell didn’t even buy those ugly ass hats/t-shirts. Run n gun is all this has become.

I'm glad you are enjoying it and seeing the differences... I'm just not as much anymore.

I see a lot of the same concepts; ISOs, pick-n-rolls, jacked up 3s, Hero ball, non-movement, The stupid arch under the basket, euro-stepping down the lane, only caring about elevating draft stock, etc. Give me the days of Bob Knight and the Evansville Aces all in-motion offenses and tough man-to-man help side defenses. Yes, there are a few enjoyable spots, like I am looking forward to Shrewsberry's ND teams. But, throwing in NIL and the portal making P5s free-agents and mid-majors JUCOs... is making it harder and harder to enjoy.

I know I don't watch NBA Basketball -- probably have not watched a game in many years -- only time I see some is if I am the bar and a game is on -- but really don't pay attention to it.
