Recruiting Former 2024 Notre Dame DT commit Owen Wafle gives verbal pledge to Michigan

Former 2024 Notre Dame defensive tackle commit Owen Wafle verbally committed to Michigan Sunday.



Notre Dame replaced Wafle with 2024 defensive tackle commit Sean Sevillano Jr, who committed to the Irish a little over a week later.

Despite Wafle's commitment, Notre Dame remains one spot ahead of Michigan in the Rivals 2024 class rankings. The Irish have a point total of 2117 and rank No. 2 while the Wolverines come in at No. 3 with 2056 points.
