For Those Who Do Not Know kenrockne

I never personally met the man. But, he was an icon on the 'sound off' board here at Irish Illustrated. His personality was a lot like NDSince35...he loved everyone.I'm not sure he ever commented on a player or their ability to play for the team.

He loved the Irish and, if I am not mistaken, was a nephew or great nephew to Knute Rockne. He loved the little guy and would have made our board collectively better.

I met him under a different moniker back in 2006. He was the kindest person you would ever want to meet. I could be wrong but, I think Czars Bar came about because of him. It wasn't called that back then but he was the bartender.

Everybody had a place or job to do. I always had the lowest rank so I did the most dirty work. We had such great fun telling tales on other members of the board.

kenrockne, you hit home and struck a cord in my heart forever. I love you and may you see ND win it all 'once again'.

This board has lost several distinguished members. CA Chief and there was a gentleman from Chesterton, Indiana who really wasn't about conversation but gave us some terrific photos he took of campus and game day. I'm sorry his name escapes me right now. RIP to all of them.

I never "met" ken but do remember Chester. Or at least seeing his pics. I believe he had a website as well.

I remember him. Dude was a true Irish football fan and funny as hell. Really miss him a lot.
