Can't seem to get on any Florida St forums . No open forums .Have to be member . Just wondering if the fans thought Maguire should have been pulled in favor of Golson . Other than the Cook scoring on a run in the first series ,didn't look like offense was doing anything . Only a few field goals . But nothing really in the second half .

Anybody know what Seminole fans are posting ? Maguire or Golson?

Have no knowledge of the situation, except we all know how Golson behaved when he felt slighted. Maybe Golson refused to be a team guy and support Maquire, and preferred standing along the sidelines aloof. Again, have no facts, but maybe Jimbo pulled the plug on the me first attitude. That would actually be refreshing. Hope Nole provides some insight tomorrow.

Lots of people were calling for Golson. They felt his mobility would open things up. I found it interesting that a couple of posters liked McGuire to stretch the field / throw the deep ball. Did Golson's arm weaken this year? As far as I remember he could chuck it deep while running never mind standing still.

It's just an example of more poor coaching by Jumbo. Clemson was a far better team, but Golson clearly was the best option.

Jumbo doesn't like Golson because he has a degree!

It wasn't the strength of his arm at issue. It was his accuracy on deep balls that was lacking. I always felt he was better throwing the ball accurately after doing a 360, having to hold himself upright with his left hand, and throwing across his body for a key completion as we all cringed. I think that year away hurt him badly, and we paid the price in 2014 for his readjustment period (you know the part where he wasn't throwing passes at a self-promoting goof ball with a broom anymore, and he actually had to deal with comparable athletes). I made every excuse for him to my ND friends and our foes for 2 years, but since he chose to walk out AFTER spring practice and steal those reps from others, I wouldn't hire him. He ran from the chance of having to earn a job, and poetically, well, you know the rest. I hope he dominates the Peach Bowl! Good luck Everett!

I don't think it really mattered, Clemson was the better team all around. FSU should be thankful they kept it as close as they did.
