Tell me about it. I live here in Ohio. It does my heart good to know our state is in such fantastic shape that our legislature doesn't have any real issues to address. No crime, no unemployment, no drug abuse. It's the Garden of Eden here.

getting offended over having a flag planted on your field is just some made up, ritualistic nonsense, made up to get young, impressionable and brainwashed young kids fired up and mad about something that has zero impact on them personally. News flash, that aint your field kid... its the universities field... and most likely the tax payers field.

On the other hand, maybe it should be just accepted. You allow your rival to beat you on your own field.. .you have to stand on the sidelines and watch your opponent stick a flag in the middle of the field.

The flag bearer was an important military role in the era when football was invented. It is a long tradition of asserting dominance over territory. Football is one of the most militaristic games and keeps the tradition alive.

Flag planting is a coaches responsibility. It is nice to know which coaches have no manners and control over their team Clearly scum and buck nuts fall into this category.
