Will you please ask Coach Kelly what the players are taught concerning extending the ball and risking a fumble? Yesterday, Durham Smythe fumbled trying to reach the ball over the goal line, nearly costing ND the game. Last season, Tori Hunter Jr. lost the ball near the pylon against USC and two years ago, Chris Brown fumbled attempting to score against Northwestern. I would think players should be instructed to reach only on fourth down or on the last play of the half or game. Than You, Lou!
