Everett Golson question from an FSU fan.....

Golson simply lost confidence in the second half of last season. He was very good through the FSU game, which was stolen from the Irish. In my eyes, win or lose, he is an upgrade over Winston because he won't be the cause such utter embrassment outing the issues in the administration and coaching at FSU.
Winston in 2014 = 18 ints.
Godson in 2015 = 0 ints.
Winston's career - a life time stain on FSU!
Golson's caeer - possibly the best person ever to wear the ugly colors of FSU!
Let's just hope EG remembers the good things he learned about life from good coaches and the influence of Notre Dame.

my assessment of EG, he's comfortable and can be a very streaky player. The first 6 games of last year he was on Heisman watch lists. The last 6 or so he folded like a cheap suit. It was literally 1 of the worst swings i've ever seen a player make. As long as he keeps his confidence, he will do well. 1 major thing he has at FSU that he didnt here, was that he has a solid running game. Last year ND couldnt run the ball and the Oline was decent at best. Basically he was asked to carry the load and i think the pressure finally got to him. I continue to say though, I want to see how he plays in a big road game. Beating BC, South Florida, Wake and Texas St with an overwhelming talent advantage around him doesnt impress me. Now not turning it over, that does. My question is, does he still throw it w/out the laces and carry it like a loaf of bread when he's running?

say what you will but EG has been coached out of those two flaws.... He had always ran with the ball in a way he could, at any moment, launch a pass.
