We talk a lot about Long and Lea being future head coaches and not lasting forever here as ND coordinators. Maybe even one of them takes over for BK.
Why is there never talk about Elston? Is he getting interest for any of the openings last year or this year? BK talks about him with so much confidence and Elston has gotten much more experience as the associate head coach doing administrative tasks, but also he's never been a coordinator.
Watching one of his interviews from media day and just got curious about him. What type of job would he like to go for as a head coach, or is he happy in his role for the long term?
Thoughts??
