Avery Davis was in the top 10 after initial rankings. I believe the top 12 out of 24 advance. Some big names weren't in the top 12 after day one.
Pretty good for a guy who might be a career backup at ND.

There are a few kids, one for Texas & one for USC, who had rough first days. I'm curios to see how the rankings shake out today.

That is not an issue in college football. I live in Texas and have seen him. He can play. We are fortunate to have him and pray we keep the commit.

but it is a factor; you rarely ever ever see a diminative CF QB who utilizes the area between the hashes. Example was EG and Rees. That area of the field was almost ignored by the offensive scheme (except for 'bombs').
Last season DK utilized the entire field.
The short QB's need to get outside the T's to see downfield.

That is NOT to say the shorter QB cannot be just as effective; they just have different stengths and skills.

Not sure where you're getting the idea that Kizer did a better job attacking the middle of the field, outside of "bombs".

Our TEs had less productions than we've seen in a very long time and we only got "good not great" productions from the Slot WR and minimal production from RBs on the passing game.

There are some downsides to being a shorter CFB QB, but they're effectively minimizes in a spear-option offense of the QB can effectively run the options and throw on the run.
(Davis looks good in both of those areas)
