I dont care if it's pro style or dual threat. They're all qbs. He was 18th overall
I think there is a lot of qbs who would excel in our current situation. But I hope he keeps playing well
I like Pyne a lot. But “completion percentage”? OK. Great.
Let’s see if he’s a “dude” who can go out and beat Clemson, then SC.
All I said was if he breaks the completion percentage, he was underrated. I didn’t say he was Bryce Young.

We weren't playing a Clemson, how'd he do against OSU?, not playing a Bama or Georgia...
Mayer "might" dominate against an elite team but NOT without help from the perimeter.
The teams we've played so far minus OSU Mayer absolutely should've overwhelmed them...and he did for the most part.
Playing against better athletes and coaches he's getting double and triple teamed and I'd do the same thing. Until we show someone we'll kill them with our WR's top teams will take away Mayer....at least keep him contained.

Mayer is a great player but everyone gets open if the QB has all day to throw.
We won't be afforded the luxury of an eternity to scan the field and wait for eventual separation against top teams.
Mayer isn’t the reason that “he had all day”, that’s a credit to the OLine.
”Accuracy” is “THE” critical asset for a QB

This last game doesn’t take away from what Pyne did in those other games, but it’s pretty wild that anyone thought he is more than a fill-in type QB.

Once again, you’re twisting and contorting to prove yourself right when you said something dumb about how TEs can’t be game breakers. They can be. And Mayer is. But don’t worry, 88, you can still think what you said makes sense so you can keep your streak of never being wrong going, but it was a dumb position to take & was taken just to diminish the idea that ND has had game breaking TEs in the past and now. Instead of conceding the point, you had to conjure up an argument against ND. It was uninformed & par for your course.
