Doesn't our D line recruiting struggle make it obvious we should run more?

If we have consistent 5 star o line recruits that go to the NFL.... and we know that d line is hard for even Notre Dame to stock.... don't we always have a huge mismatch in weight and talent? Shouldn't we run all the time ? :)
