I guess no one finds this crazy/interesting? I figured this would of been one of the biggest stories in sports..... guess not.
Can't speak for others, but for me the "dodged a bullet" title discouraged me from clicking on the thread.
But now that I have, that really is a horrendous story.
Mental Illness is a real problem in America. Not a huge story in sports considering he hasn't played since 2012
It definitely is, and it sounds like that's involved here. Tragic for all involved.

Espn is going to do a piece on how ND has lost touch with who they are by going out and recruiting these types of people.
I am an A&M grad. This guy had a very promising start. Then left after the BAMA game. Very sad story. I remember when I was a little boy, my mother would sometimes say that someone was sick. Didn't understand then but I think I do now.
When I lived in Dallas, I ran that trail many times. I have an expectation to be able to go out and do normal things on a daily basis and return home safely. I think that is a reasonable expectation, but I also appreciate and am thankful for each day that I am safe.
