Because it is just silly. We barely beat VA. If we would have dropped in the polls, there would have been hell to pay on this forum. Why should we jump TCU? What logic would make someone even bring that argument up?

you just don't get it pazuzu. first of all our irish had a close game against UVA throughout the second half instead of a blowout because they lost there starting qb and that will deflate any team playing wise while then having to play with a qb that never played in a game since high school and secondly the irish defense played shutout ball in the second half today against umass until the backups came in while TCU gave up 52 pts playing bad defense for 4 quarters

Bama looked strong against Louisiana Monroe. I don't think that means much. UGA and Ole Miss, ok, but LSU beat Syracuse by 10. LSU's offense is one dimensional. Stop the run and you stop them. Off course, stopping that back isn't easy.

Irish just need to play up to their ability in the three tough games remaining and not wet the bed against the teams they should destroy. A loss this week would be a surprise, but not earth shattering as this team will/should be getting better with reps.

A one loss Irish team will make the Final Four, but let's keep winning to make it a sure thing.
