I am totally surprised that Diaco did not line up and kick the FG so he could then try an onsides kick.

not sure if Being happy with BVG hire is necessarily 'trashing' his predecessor
I was counted in those that wanted a more attacking, take it to them, defense.
Philosophically, I am still of that opinion; but clearly BVG is not the guy.

Plus, I see you totally missed the sarcasm in the post; it was hardly 'praise' of Diaco.

Wait a minute...we'd question him as HC at ND because of 1 bad clock management incident? I mean it's not like he had a true freshman back-up QB throw a fade into the endzone against a mid major when a 29 yard FG would have won the game.
