Agree 100%. Not sure what sense it makes to not give him the ball at all. Thought it had to be an injury but he was flying down the field on special teams. I don't get it.
After the first game Kelly probably heard the chatter to get Dexter the ball some more, so in his stubborn way thought he'll win this game without Dexter getting any touches.
Either that, or waiting for the next transfer?
Was the 20 ypc not good enough?

Whatever dude, it was a discrace that he was not given one fricken opportunity. bk is doing awesome, keep believing it. You are clueless, wouldn't want my kid playing for your pop warner team. How can you support this after broadcasting that you are some kind of coach?
A head coach has a few major responsibilities. One of them is seeing to the well-being of the players, another is to put the players in a position to win their games.
It was obvious after the Temple game that right now our best running back is Dexter Williams. His sudden propulsion to the holes was reminiscent of Reggie Brooks and I believed he has a chance to be our best back since Reggie. I rewatched the Temple game and one of my takes was on the 4th and 2 Adams got stuffed on Williams would have reached the outside and picked up the first down.
I was quite sure after film review the coaches would have realized Dexter was the best option at RB and his 6 carry load would increase significantly. Because our local NBC station covered Irma nonstop I couldn't watch the game. I was following the score and concluded our low point output must have been because they were holding back Williams to use him more later in the game when he would come in with fresh legs. I was disgusted when I discovered he was never given an opportunity at all.
Something was motivating the "coach's decision" to not play our most explosive and dynamic offensive weapon. It wasn't the pursuit of victory but I am having a hard time figuring out what it was. Was it pride? Revenge? Pettiness? Hard to say but it is clear our head coach is not taking on his responsibilities as he should.
He never has. Never defies the odds. Never gets the players to play above themselves..even if for one game. It's always a tease.
FSU three years ago. Clemson two years ago. Stanford two years ago. Big moment.. Big stage...lots on the line and he just goes about his business like its just another game.
Well sometimes it's not just another game. Morale, Good energy, Recruiting, it all goes hand in hand.
At what point does anyone say enough is enough. I'm speaking of the AD.

I suppose he had a bad week of practice (according to the bk worshippers) or he can't pass block according to the guru bk. Guess what idiot? you don't have to block when you get the ball. Dexter has been here 3 years and if your excuse is he can't pass block than that is your fault( oh I forgot nothing is bk fault) for not developing him in your years of so called expertise of coaching. How can any ND fan with a fricking brain condone this stupidity of not letting this kid get get the damn ball. What a joke

Williams , Stepherson , McKinley, and Claypool are very underutilized to say the least. Can't tell me that favoritism is not a play in Cam Smith getting PT over Claypool . Not even mentioning KS 's situation. That is a mystery. Offensively this team can be much better with better personnel on the field. At what point in this season will we see this ?
Not supporting anything. Just trying to educate you on how programs work. Coordinators and position coaches make 99% of personnel decisions.
BK said pre-season that this was going to be a rotational Backfield. If BK and his staff doesn't feel Dexter is ready then what have they been doing with him in the development arena for the last few years? He's not a true Freshman. He's been around. They couldn't give him a few carries with fresh legs later in the game and if nothing happens then no harm?
