Kid really likes ND. 6’4 to 6’5 and top dual threat in the country. Minchey, Carr, Deuce? Wow would that be some QB room.

TN will be extremely hard to beat. He’s a perfect fit for what they’ve been doing recently. They do well with his style. They also give bags of cash. Unless he leaves with ND at the top I’d focus on Bear (a typical ND type QB). I’d love Deuce though. We need to change the narrative of 5th round QB talent if we are ever going to win something important. But we can’t afford misses on other guys for ones that have us as their second or third school. Let’s hope Knight is different.

Best case If he stays 4… if he’s too good he stays 3 and starts 2, if he’s not good enough then beat him out
If ND wants to take the next steps, Deuce is the kind of arm talent and size we need. Everyone talks about the Trevor Lawrence factor. If you get a 6’5 gunslinger and get a lot of really good 4 star players and skill players you can beat Bama. TN looked electric at points last year. Overall their talent is less that’ll ours. But they had the slinger QB. I’m not sure Deuce is that guy as I haven’t watched film, but his size is right. Does he have the rocket launcher and ability to run? Is he Vince Young, TL, Watson, Newton?
Don’t get me wrong, I love CJ Carr’s ability. He’s the best we’ve had in a while from a talent perspective. But, I haven’t seen him takeover a game all by himself the way those others have. There’s something different level about a 6’5 accurate gunslinger like TL, Vince Young, and Cam Newton that can run all over college defenses. TL was the difference of 30 points vs ND. He was just bigger and better than everyone on the field. Like a high school QB playing junior high football.

I get it. But the height comment in his post had little to do with anything. He’s excited about a top QB visiting, like we all are…. No reason to argue
Tennessee cheats their collective asses off, like most of the $EC, and will offer big up front cash. So we will see.
