DC/Defense compared to OC/Offense

It appears that Freeman expects the O to follow a similar trajectory from this year to next year as the D's from last year to this year. Interesting logic. There is no comparison between the knowledge and experience of the DC and the OC. That difference seems to me to be the whole point. Freeman, a great D coach, went out and got a great DC. On the other hand, he fumbled the OC search and then hired an OC with virtually no experience and no coaching tree to indicate that he had any special knowledge of offensive football. And he expects him to perform as Al Golden has? That's not wishful thinking. It's obtuse.

Freeman is acting way too much like Riley did with his DC. The problem is that he is a head coach and will be evaluated by the team's win/loss record, not the D's.

BTW, he was much more careful hiring a new STC, than OC. Inexplicable.
