While Notre Dame football news has been upbeat, this has been a terrible week for college football — and the nation in general —leading to the cancellation of multiple games in the SEC and elsewhere. This includes No. 1 Alabama vs. LSU and No. 3 Ohio State against Maryland. In the ACC it's been Pitt-Georgia Tech, and the Pac-12, which just opened play last week, already has been having setbacks.
