Keenan Reynolds has been cleared by the Navy to pursue an NFL career and fulfill his military obligation in the Navy Reserves. I think that is great news both for Keenan and the Middie football program.

I think in order for these academies to compete in modern FBS level college football they are going to need to make a lot more of these type of exceptions.

"come play for us, if you are good enough to get drafted, you can finish your 'term' in the reserves'

This will play well with recruits who are good enough to go pro, but still want to serve at the academy.
