And since everybody is expecting a banner year for the football program ,I thought I would turn my attention to women's basketball and their recruiting .I'm a big time fan of the Irish girls . In 2016 ,we have 2 top 10 recruits in 6'2" forward Erin Boley ( ranked # 5 ) and 5'11 " guard Jackie Young(ranked # 9) committed .
With the loss of Lloyd ,it will be very difficult to be a final 4 team this season , We will be very good . But with the addition of Boley and Young in 2016 ,we again could challenge UConn.UConn continues to have monster recruiting.
I know the top high school player in 2015 is Lauren Cox out of Flower Mound ,Texas . We are in her final 5 along with UConn ,Louisville ,Baylor ,Tennessee . If she signs with ND ,we can really challenge UConn .Thinking here is if she decides to stay home ,Baylor will be her choice ,.Her family will be able to watch her since they live an hour or two away . if she decides to leave Texas , UConn would have a slight edge over ND .
