Well, David Shaw proved once again he's a better coach than Kelly. Down 10-0 without his best player. No problem. 17 unanswered points. Using a power running game in spots no less to help control the clock and punish the Irish defense. On the other side of the field, Brian Kelly, pulling Kizer out of a winnable game to prove a point.

I'm sure FloridaIrish, the ol' ball coach, is having a stroke over this one.

Well lets be honest ND GAVE 9 points. But I do get your point about Shaw. He got his team prepared and they didn't get down when things were going bad. ND should have been up 20 - 0. I give Stanford credit for not quitting, Lord knows ND would have.
