Are you a fan of scripting plays to start a game?
I was never a fan of scripting plays, but I was a fan of scripting formations. Then maybe have a couple down/distance specific plays off those scripted formations. That process can really give the play caller an idea of defensive adjustments with certain personnel/formation packages.
Seeing that ND really struggles sometimes to get play calls in, do you think this might help get things going?
Are you aware if Sanford likes to script plays?
