Clemson game question...

I am flying into ATL (got a GREAT flight deal) for the game a couple days before. Between ATL and Clemson, are there any golf courses that are good or should we stay in ATL a couple days to golf?

I know Clemson's course is nice. Thinking around the Lavonia, GA area.

Any experts out there?
