Multiple reports have national reporters have indicated that Chris Ash is set to become Notre Dame's new defensive coordinator. Working to confirm and will have a story from @Eric Hansen shortly.

Update: confirmed with a source the hiring of Ash and expectation for Mike Mickens to stay at Notre Dame.
