Wonder what schools Feldman is referring to?

Chip Kelly:
The former 49ers coach tells Jay Glazer that he’s open to taking an NFL offensive coordinator job. Kelly was also asked by Bruce Feldman if he’s open to returning to college and said, “I evaluate all jobs individually. I wouldn't rule anything out.” Feldman adds that some schools are contemplating making changes this month if they can land Kelly.

UCLA?

Harbaugh had far worse baggage. He pled out of a DUI when he was coaching at San Diego. Far more serious than silly NCAA rules, as you can actually kill someone drunk behind the wheel. Also, a long time ago (like 7-8 years ago) on the UM rivals board when Harbaugh's name was being brought up a UM poster said that he was a student in the 80's at the same time as Harbaugh and lived in the same dorm and insisted Harbaugh should never get hired at UM because he was an abusive (to women) drunk even during his UM student days. This same poster changed his tune once the losing at UM became unbearable.

You're talking about Michigan. Don't think you could be considered unless you are a degenerate.

at least Harbaugh resonates with recruits and their families; Kelly has lost credibility with both.

Another negative post. Are any of you even fans or alumni? It's time to come together. If 90% of your posts are anti ND... Are you really a fan? I get people have moved on from Kelly, but instead of being an armchair ad can we get back to football talk? Kelly is here... he's on a short leash and he's putting together a decent young up and coming staff.

^ see, we view your apathy and 'meh' character as negative; so basically ALL your posts are negative from a 'real' ND football fan perspective! you are the dancin irish! we are the Fightin Irish

btw: I notice you did not disagree with my contention, so failing a better argument you went the usual route: personal attack on the poster. Weeny you are!

"Kelly was criticized in September 2004 for remarks he made to the Detroit Free Press about perjury charges filed against two former Central Michigan players after other CMU players were charged with second-degree murder in the fatal beating of a man.

"A number of them were African-Americans that had been in that culture of violence, and they're taught to look away," Kelly said. "You don't want anything to do with it. Get out of there. You don't say anything to anybody."

I remember that thread and the poster. Harbaugh was also arrested while playing for Chicago on a disorderly conduct charge and while an Indy Colt punched Jim Kelly for questioning his toughness on the football field.
As far as sideline demeanor, google and you'll find he drops F-bombs and curses at players as well.

...but, but, but he's winning, so he passes muster for not being a choir boy. ;)

He's also not under the Golden Dome.....

Yep, keep dropping f bombs at the feet of the Virgin Mary.

Well Done!!

Yeah, yeah, we all know how you despise Kelly and I'm sure you'll post another 1000 redundant posts with reasons why. :D

If dropping an F-bomb is wrong..it's wrong at the feet of the Virgin Mary and it's wrong at the Big House too.

If you can't delineate between the 2 that's perplexing. :p

The Board censored it. Won't allow that 4 letter beauty! I digress, it is football right?

I've never had a problem with Kelly going apeshit, however the direction in which he does it is out of line. Nothing wrong with an ass chewing, yet to berate a player should be handled in practice rather than gameday.

Also many coaches act as bad or worse, but it's hard to find a coach that directly attacks players as much as our FB coach. Could be the cameras play to it also. I mean no coach changes that many colors!

No just think dropping an F-bomb at ND Stadium or the Big House should get you the same ten lashes with a wet noodle.
......and yes, I'm a product of eight years of parochial schooling.

TD Jesus weeps.... maybe we should switch fingers on First Down Moses to boot.

He's damned if he does and damned if he doesn't. Personally, think Kelly and ND should have parted ways but hope He, his staff, and the players turn it around in 2017.

The board censored what?

....by the way along with profanity, porn can't be posted either. :D

Ha! Makes me remember when the HS band finished 11th at the State Fair (Indiana HS) band contest and when getting some smack from rivals bands about what placement they got....gave the old double bird as in eleventh.

....went to public HS. :D

You'd like when the UCLA and southern cal cheerleaders/bands get within proximity. You'd think they were all missing 8 fingers. I was with some folks a while back and an ex UCLA cheerleader (Ali McGraw knockoff) told the story of how the southern cal cheerleaders and band told her she had to walk around them. "She miami'd them with both fingers in the air."
PS I had the same route... 8 years Catholic grammar school, 4 years public HS (jr/sr high) . The public high school was much higher rated than the local Catholic HS...higher SATs, more Ivy league placement...top 100 in the country top 15 NY....
