This one hurts. Getting absolutely destroyed in every aspect of football in the 2nd half hurts.

There are so many instances of Freeman/Rees not having control of their team. Out coached, not adjusting to player personnel. Elston, Freemon, and Rees is not a winning combination. ND needs a veteran presence as the DC.

HH as the OL will help Rees. Bringing in an experienced WR coach can help Rees. I believe Del will not be retained. Analyst. ND needs to surround Rees with some experienced offensive minded coaches, he has so much to learn.

Players:

LB corp was garbage. #6 play was possibly the worst technique ever seen in a CB at ND. Even worse than Daunte Vaughn from a few years back.
QB play complete garbage. OL no push in the run game, it’s been a weak spot all year. Tyree and Diggs need a lot of work. Lenzy and Austin should return back to ND or they will have to try the NFL as undrafted free agents.

Recruiting: The QB has been recruited like crap the past 4-5 years. ND is a top 5 program yet BK/Rees recruited MAC level players. WR room has been completely mismanaged and underdeveloped, idk wtf Rees/BK we’re thinking all these years. Complete disaster.

CMF has a desire to be a top recruiter, I believe he can bring in some top talent. Coaching staff has to be upgraded and ND has to bring in analysts. That’s the name of the game, Saban has a minimum of 4-6 analysts per season. Lord knows Freeman/Rees need some experienced coaches to lean on.

Cheers everyone, happy New Years
