Casey McHugh, who spent the 2023 season as a defensive graduate assistant working with linebackers at Oklahoma State, has announced he will be joining Notre Dame's staff as a defensive analyst.
Prior to Oklahoma State, McHugh spent four seasons at Old Dominion in various rules. He started as a quality control coach working with quarterbacks in 2019. Then he spent two season as a graduate assistant linebackers coach before one season as a graduate assistant safeties coach.
McHugh began his coaching career as a quarterbacks coach at Delaware Valley University in 2018.
As a player, McHugh spent four seasons at Division III Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He graduated in 2016 with a degree in aerospace engineering.
