I don't Malik one bit for transferring.Right now ND is a sinking ship so why stick around.I don't who will pick him up but he should land somewhere decent.I also don't think Malik and Kelly got along to well.

I know you are not Malik's dad, cause I have chatted w/his ID but you must be close?

be objective and reasonable in assessment if you want any credibility!

Even if this years team was Final Four bound and MZ didn't feel like he was contributing, he has every right to use his graduate transfer status to try and fulfill his dream. I don't blame him. In fact, I respect him. Good luck to the young man. I hope he doesn't follow his dream with an Irish 2017 opponent though.

Wish him nothing short of great success. He is getting his degree, which is job #1, and owes ND nothing. I hope he does well where ever he lands.

MZ wasn't going to play next year anyway.
Has nothing to do with our record. Even if we won the national championship this year. He still would have transferred, he wants to start and he wasn't going to do that next year even if DK goes pro.
Lets not make this more then what it is. He wants to start.

I actually think he needed another year to heal... that injury seems to have slowed him down a bit or he was he rusty ? IDK I though he was the next Tony Rice at ND just in the gun. He is 3-0 as the starting QB .. might be the only QB ever to be 3-0. I wish him well and hope he gets a shot in the NFL after a great season.

Malik would be 2-1 as a starter if not for Kizer s bomb to Fuller. Malik was having terrible game against Virginia.
Wish Malik all the best but hard to envision him as NFL qb.

What's best for Malik is doing what he wants.

Having said that the best thing Malik could do if he had any Sunday playing dreams is switch to safety.

He is not a good Saturday QB and an even worse Sunday QB.

But....best of luck.

Not pouring salt into a wound but...in my mind he is 1-0.
The LSU game he had to be spelled in obvious passing situations.
Texas was his bell to bell.
Then Virginia he was en route to a loss.
