Agree. No sense being here next year if we are breaking in a first time starting QB either. I.E. His numbers should be best this year with Hartman and our relatively young / lack of experienced receivers and TE's.My pure guess is he goes to the NFL as either a late draft round or undrafted free agent. More games like the CMU game where he burns the defense with a long TD and his draft prospects improve. I just think he has finally found his position, bought into the position 110%, has worked extremely hard to improve his craft, and needs to make his case to the NFL this year. Not sure he is NFL talent, but I think his speed will get him some serious looks.
The transfer portal isn't going anywhere. If Marcus Freeman believes another grad transfer QB is required to win at TAM to open 2024, and be a better football team, then I expect Marcus Freeman to go in that direction.Agree. Yes he can return next year.
I think he should return next year
Will he, that's tbd
I dont think so because I think he will be a late round pick to undrafted if ge leaves earlyHow much NIL he's getting has to be a factor.
Does he want to continue playing football and have a shot in the NFL?I dont think so because I think he will be a late round pick to undrafted if ge leaves early
I think it comes down to does he still want to play football, does he think he can improve his nfl stock, get an extra year of free education

Tyree isnt making anywhere near Corum level NIL money or anything significant. He's a role playerRead the article in SI on Blake Corum the Michigan RB .
That's the way kids are thinking nowadays.
He thought of leaving but without saying a number he intimated he's getting well over a million a year in NIL.
If a kid can get more from NIL than he can make as a Projected Middle to Low Round Draft Choice why leave ?
Stay in school----improve your game and hopefully improve your Draft Status.
The kid Corum has bought 2 Apartment Buildings and is an investor in one under construction.
Not that muchLG at Michigan is getting 225K-----that's a bunch of money for a kid who likely will never get drafted and isn't a skill guy.
If Tyree finishes strong this season and hits the portal you have no idea what he could get.
We'll see
Not that much
I think you nailed it. The big looming question for next season is who can win in August, @ A&M?The transfer portal isn't going anywhere. Not running backs. Kyren Williams left after 3 seasons, round 5, now starting for the LA Rams.If you’re 4th round or worse in draft status, you should probably exhaust your eligibility and rake in as much NIL as you can. If you do it right, you can make more money in college

RB's should leave as soon as possible.
EQSB left after 3 seasons, Round 6, now going into his 6th year on Sundays.
Working on your NFL pension and towards a second NFL contract far out weighs staying in school.I’m not talking about whether or not they’ll make it in the NFL, I’m strictly talking about how much money they can make in College vs the NFL. This year, Kryren is making $870K (2nd season) contractually from the NFL. He could easily be making more in college with NIL. Kyren was a projected 2nd day pick(2nd/3rd round) and slipped to the 5th so he’s not exactly who I’m talking about anyways. I’m strictly talking about those projected 4th round or worse.

How Long Do You Have to Play in the NFL to Get a Pension?I get what you’re saying and took those into account, but what% of NFLers actually qualify for the pension. Don’t you have to be on an active roster for at least 5 years in order to receive it? Most NFL careers are only like 3-4 years. It’s a tough situation nonetheless
