i think it started at 4-4.5 and has moved down. Spaddy did a great job of laying out their injuries/ suspensions and what the comparable loss would look like at ND--- it was staggering. That coupled with 3-9 last year and the loss of their best talent, makes me think this line is not a reflection of the final score. I realize it's at E Lansing and I'm aware of bk's ineptitude on the road but I can see us win in a blowout.

Line seems weird to me as well..... I thought MSU should be favored. I hate MSU more than any other team, but I do not see ND winning. They have always played ND very hard.

Vagas is moving the numbers to get money
to get action in both sides.

That seems about right to me. Because we've been more impressive than MSU so far, at least offensively. Should be a great game.

Here's my question: why do you think the result will be different than last year when MSU ran off 36 straight pts? Kizer was a better QB than Wimbush. Lewerke is better than Cook. MSU will pound the rock and they're playing a night game at home after a week's rest. If ND can't get off the field, then this will be a repeat performance. MSU will run right at Daelin Hayes all night long. The kid is a speed rusher and suspect vs the run. A few other tidbits that may be contributing factors::

UGA played with a true frosh making his first ever start in South Bend and still had enough to beat ND

WMU pushed USC for 3 qtrs. Sparty spanked them

ND was underwhelming for 3 qtrs vs a terrible BC team

Temple looked awful v USF

All very good points, but in a word, defense. I think we 're a lot better than last year. This years D is not allowing 36 unanswered pts. This years Sparty is decimated with injuries/suspensions and I think we have a huge talent edge. But you do raise valid concerns

Even with our losses you don't have a huge talent edge.

When's the last time you guys had huge talent disparities with other good P5 programs? 25 years?

Well, guess now you know results can differ from year to year, Mr. Michigan Fan. :D

So much for MSU being an Irish loss!
