Cam Hart

Coming back for the 2023 season!

Big news. Him and Morrison have the chance to be one of the best convoys in the country
Completely agree, Mickey isn’t ready right now and if he’s got as much talent as the coaches think then letting him develop T nickel and behind hart would be beneficial rather than throw him to the wolves like usc game and play bad

Hart wasn’t as good this year as he could be, he was still good though. I think there was confusion in our secondary at times this year, actually way too much confusion

I don’t want to see Henderson getting much PT anymore, he just has no lateral movement ability and struggles

I didn’t see this coming at all, but this is really positive for our defensive backfield. I agree with Nasty, Mickey isn’t ready to start at corner, but for a pure freshman, he gained invaluable experience. He needs to continue to see the field and I expect he’ll be significantly improved next year. We play a ton of nickel, and that’s the perfect place for him. The move did wonders for Bracy. Hart’s announcement included the following quote: “I believe my time here isn’t necessarily complete. Choosing to attend the University of Notre Dame has been the best decision I’ve ever made in my entire life. In light of that, I’ve decided to return for a fifth season and look forward to taking the field with my brothers in 2023.”

I wonder if Joseph is open to returning. The secondary would potentially be loaded.
I had really high expectations for Joseph, but felt he was our fourth best defensive back By seasons end. Morrison and Bracy and Hart all had better seasons in my opinion. I thought Watts was improving as a safety almost on a weekly basis, and I think he might start next year. I’m sure staff would welcome Joseph back with open arms, and perhaps he sees the need to play another year and much better to have a shot at the league.

I would agree with all of that.

He was OK. Certainly didn’t live up to expectations. Hoping he sees that he needs another year and commits to having a great off season.

This is great to get locked down. I expect a ton of transfers out of the program to at least be considered. Coaches need to be recruiting our players right now.

Some players will leave and I don't think the coaches will mind. Some will have to be recruited to stay. I don't see many transfers out from kids we really want to stay

Hart and Morrison can be the best corner tandem next year since the early 90s

I bet Griffith could come back unnoticed.
