Calling out ArmyWildcat81......

I was listening to Dan Patrick on the radio today and they were waxing poetic about the history that was made in spite of the Kentucky loss. I was shaking my head....yeah, just like the patriots perfect season going up in smoke....

It's called a historic choke...nothing more...

I think the announcers completely miss the boat and should give a lot more credit to UCLA's/Walton's 88-0 run.

PS Walton won his final 49 HS games & holds the national record for shooting 79% from the field.

So, Walton had a personal 137 game winning streak snapped by ND.

He also missed a potential game winning turnaround jumper with 6 seconds left at ND.

That game is the most historic upset in college hoop history.

The Wisconsin win just put the exclamation point on what we all know.

calipari's a douche and kentucky could be had with sound fundamental team ball...

imo ND had the toughest schedule to finish the year. Hopefully, that steels us going forward...

There's a lot to build off of...

Duke has 5 national titles since 1990 and UNC has 3... Throw in Maryland's title in 2002 and its pretty hard for anyone anywhere to argue that the ACC has more NCAA tourney success then the SEC in college basketball for the last 25 years.

Kentucky has 3, Florida has 2, and Arkansas has 1 since 1990.

Surely Kentucky fans can figure out that 9 > 6... (and we are not counting current ACC members Louisville or Syracuse titles in the total) especially under the spectre that Calipari has retroactively lost his final four appearances at both Memphis and UMass due to NCAA investigations.

Perhaps Armywildcat should sit on that 2012 title for a few more years and make sure it isnt taken away .... along with all those wins that would move UNC into their top winning percentage and total wins in NCAA history.
