Anybody know anything about Butler? Lines mean nothing in the tourney, but ND is 5pt fav.

I have Butler beating ND tomorrow in my bracket....also will be betting them getting 5.5 right now...would rather have played Texas. If ND shoots the percentage tomorrow that they did yesterday they will win....this to me is how well ND shoots the ball, Butler is very disciplined on both ends....texas would have been an easier game....at this time of the year there are about 10 teams that could get to next elite 8....ND and Butler are 2 of them...I posted in an earlier threa that I actually like ND's match-up next weekend.....we will see if they can get that far...I am saying no.....but I would love to eat crow...
I disagree with you on the matchup. I was actively rooting for Butler yesterday. Texas had size everywhere and they crash the boards hard. We would have never gotten a rebound against them. Butler is smaller and much less athletic, but they are a smart team and defensively sound. I like our chances against a team like that.
If we come out loose, which I think we will, we should be alright. Really need to push the tempo and try and get easy ones in transition, because Butler's D is very good once they set up.

Word on the street is if Butler gives the Irish a tough game on Saturday or even wins, Jack S. might schedule them for football.
yooper...good analysis....i liked playing texas more because I thought ND could get a lot of driibble and kick options off their offense...texas not very disciplined...i saw Texas bang the boards hard vs kentucky but UK did not shoot it well....better shhot it well against Butler because you will only get one shot
