And he may be the first QB taken in the 2023 NFL Draft.

God damn, is that for real? Holy shit, I mean that dude is definitely tiny, there's no doubt. He's not just small, or short. He's like a frickin' tennis player or something. He does not look like a football player AT ALL. He's a great QB, no doubt. But it's like Urkel out there, Like TV's Urkel....

He's not just small, he's scrawny. Relatively speaking, for a football player. That he's able to play as well as he does, considering his physical prowess or lack thereof is pretty incredible. He looks like an effin' tennis player....

Scrawny? A tennis player? Bryce Young measured 5-10 204. Lack of physical prowess? Again, a tennis player? You can’t be serious.

I'm quite serious. I probably shouldn't be responding to you, but what the hell.

Yeah, he's a damn tennis player who missed his calling. Football players are jacked, badass specimens. Even QBs. And not only is he tiny, but he definitely lacks in any sort of imposing musculature. I don't give a shit if he's 200 pounds, he's a comparatively pudgy 200 pounds. Naturally you're being a pretentiously phony lickspittle and dutifully defending his honor for whatever your morbid reasons, when really I'm paying him a compliment. That in spite of his total lack of typical football physical traits, he's like one of the great QBs of his little era, or whatnot.

Clueless.

I wouldn’t draft a QB shorter then say 6-3 that high. He maybe become a good or great NFL QB but the odds are low.

I mean he is a draft able player, but not in the 1st round.

CJ is the pick. The Bears should trade Fields. You need to pass the ball in the NFL. Justin is worthless on that front.

He's trying to be the next Russell Wilson or Kyler Murray. They're only 5'11 and 5'10.

Drew Brees, Russel wilson, Kyler Murray

all thought too small

So fixating on one measurement is just plain DUMB.

Now worrying whether he can take the pounding is valid but he is NOT a tennis player (another idiotic unsaavy comment)

As has been proven again and again over the years those fixating on measurements as regards QBs screw the pooch again and again and again

What is between the ears is 80% of what makes a QB.

He has the arm fir certain which is also more important than height

In many years he would not be a top QB pick but this year there is a good chance he is the first chosen

You would have been of the geniuses who passed on Patrick Mahomes, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Russell Wilson and others

Brilliant !

IJ is correct. Odds are overwhelmingly not supportive of miniature QB’s; especially ones of v slight stature. The NFL is a very different competition than college.

Mahomes is 6’3”, Rogers is 6’2+’
Brees was an anomal, and Wilson came into the league well before defenses were designed to contain the duel threat QB!
Young is actually a drop back QB! worse yet!

I assume he's going to be a good NFL player. But god damn is he an underwhelming physical specimen, in all respects. Which I suppose makes it all the more impressive.

I would not consider 5-10 1/2 200 pounds scrawny.

Mahomes is 6' 2". So is Rodgers

Young was the #1 recruit out of California in his class. Even higher than DJ Ukelele.

I found that looking for something else. At the time USC and UCLA were not even competitive for their own state's top players.

UCLA still isn't involved with so. California's top HS players. Chip Kelly recruits a different type of player, but did land 5-Star QB Dante Moore.

I would

Not only are you a moron, you are a jackass !!!

Learn how to read idiot

Try reading the thread and you'll see who the jackass is

Everyone else will see what you did.

You looked like a fool with your comment first. Then calling me a jackass when you were in reality talking about your own comment. Then third when you played the victim

Do we really have to use the lords name in vain over and over on a Notre Dame forum? People get black listed daily here for taking small digs at liberals but we throw the lords name in vain around like it’s hip.

Odd.

Odds of a QB < 6’ making it ‘big’ are insurmountable! When you recognize that there are equally attractive options in this draft, why play the longshot?
