Brady had to wait and sit behind Drew Henson didn't he?

Brady had to fight for playing time everywhere he went and didn't start or even play till he was a senior. Having to fight for your job is a good thing and keeps you sharp-just ask Tom Brady.

Even last year in the Kansas City blowout early in the season pundits wondered if Brady was too old and just didn't have it anymore. And that was last year. And the pundits are eating their words and Brady has the last laugh. It's all about work ethic and making adjustments and I'm not sure Golson has shown that yet-at least in learning from his mistakes. His interceptions crippled the team down the stretch.

Don't see how the transfer helps him. Running away from competition never looks good for a player.

He's got the talent. He was a shining star against Bama when everyone else on the team was getting worked. We all saw that talent and elusiveness out of the pocket which is where he excels.

Does he think that he won't have to compete against other more talented QBs in the NFL?

Being handed a starting job is never good for a QB. Golson imploded after the FSU loss and he had no real competition until the LSU game which hurt him.

Even in his "undefeated regular season, 10-0" season he was a game manager and got benched against UM and I think the Pitt game was a bad game for him as well. Getting benched twice in your strongest season is an indication Golson was always a work in progress who made bad decisions sometimes and put the team in a bind that was not necessary.
