John Fadule 31 for 57, 400 yds. 1 TD, 4 interceptions.

You are lucky you have Stanford to balance out the dreadfulness of BC.

BC is truly inept on offense. The Eagles have scored 173 points in ten games. 76 of those points came against Howard. So in their remaining nine games, BC has scored a total of 97 points.

BC will be fired up, but I can't envision another Texas over Oklahoma outcome. ND rolls by 4 TDs.

Didn't the current QB start as 4th string. The starter hurt early and the next 2 guys, redshirt freshman and true freshman, have not worked out yet if they ever will. If I recall correctly, Fadule is a walk-on freshman.

31-0. That was fun. Luck is when the refs call a clear TD by your opponent just short of the goal, thus giving you a game. Throwing a 36 yard TD pass with 12 seconds left, and doing it with your back-up qb, is depth. Michigan may have that kind of depth again some day, but it won't be anytime soon.

If football was like flipping a coin, I might agree. But believe me, BC has EARNED their record this year. They are not a hard luck team ala Nebraska.

Nothing dreadful about BC's defense. Its a lot better than Nebraska's. A strong offensive showing by ND could make a statement.

You are correct that BC's defense is solid. But overall, they are terrible. They have ONE win against a FBS team (Northern Illinois). Zero ACC wins. Victories vs Maine and Howard.

Frankly, my original post in this thread about BC being due for a win was a bit tongue and cheek.

But BC's defense is good enough that winning by 4 TD's is a pretty tall order. Schade knows that. He's just setting the stage to argue that a close Iowa/Nebraska game looks better than a close ND/BC game.

Well, Nebraska is way better than BC, so yes that wouldn't look as bad. But I think Iowa would have to beat Ohio State to get into the playoff. So I don't see a need to worry about the Hawkeyes.
