The Irish (32-21) lost to 14 seed Boston College, 5-4 in 10 innings, on Tuesday night/Wednesday a.m. in the first round of the ACC Tourney. BC then upset 6 seed Virginia in the second round late Wednesday night and plays 3 seed North Carolina in the quarterfinals tonight at 7.
