Bama vs TN

TN recruiting last 5 years in the 20's with a 13 and 11th ranked class mixed in. Coaching has a lot to do with winning big games.
I haven't seen much of TN this year, but I have to say, they are an impressive looking team, especially on offense. Alabama may very well come back to win this game, but they are going to have their work cut out for them. We have all seen Bama occasionally lose a game, but it isn't often they appear to be the second best team on the field. That said, TN is carrying a lot of baggage into this game after a couple of decades of mediocre football, so there will be some demons to exorcise.

Hooker was a 4 star dual threat wasn't even top 300 overall recruit, so not "elite" which is what most on here are clamoring for. Maybe, just maybe it's the coaching staff implementing an offense and game plans that utilize the strengths of the players they have vs forcing the players into a specific offensive scheme and game plans.

Yes. But talent is more important. Pyne and Book do not look that good at Tenn no matter how much development you have.
Hendon is 6'4" 225 lbs and is athletic and has a strong arm. Cant teach that

Pyne was barely a 4 star, Book was a 3 star. How would a healthy Buchner do on TN?

Tennessee has gone from a pitiful program to a top 5 team under JH. He has done a tremendous job and will be the coach of the year! Plenty of room left on the bandwagon, G5!
