Knowing the Lousiville kickers are beyond terrible why would you attempt to block a 46-yard FG attempt when your team is only down 3? It's amazing how much money some meathead football coaches make.....
Yup. I expect Mr. Simpleton Kelly to be in rare form tomorrow night.Times a million in regards to Kelly.
I only watched the beginning and end of the game. It still boggles my mind why Cutcliffe called for an all out FG block. It makes no sense, they got the stop they needed. Unless, hmmmm maybe Dook will get a big check in the mail if UL makes the F4.Did you miss the phantom whistle when the UL tightend fumbled inside his own 10?
That changed the entire game and was intentionally called by the officials to protect Louisville.
It might not have been a special block kick call. Just your standard defending field goal call, and the kid got close and messed up. It happens.
In any case, Louisville did not look like a top ten team tonight.
In this case, don't blame the coach for the stupidity of the player. Some things you just can't put on the coach. I thought Cutcliffe did a great job last night hanging with a much much better teamKnowing the Lousiville kickers are beyond terrible why would you attempt to block a 46-yard FG attempt when your team is only down 3? Choke on the FGClemson looks to be having the same big game hangover
