Knowing the Lousiville kickers are beyond terrible why would you attempt to block a 46-yard FG attempt when your team is only down 3? It's amazing how much money some meathead football coaches make.....

It might not have been a special block kick call. Just your standard defending field goal call, and the kid got close and messed up. It happens.

In any case, Louisville did not look like a top ten team tonight.

Did you miss the phantom whistle when the UL tightend fumbled inside his own 10?

That changed the entire game and was intentionally called by the officials to protect Louisville.

I only watched the beginning and end of the game. It still boggles my mind why Cutcliffe called for an all out FG block. It makes no sense, they got the stop they needed. Unless, hmmmm maybe Dook will get a big check in the mail if UL makes the F4.

did you ever play a pickup basketball game in the playground? ever play against a group of others that
were not as good as your guys, and did you go all out? or did you play down to their level just to make it a game! but you stayed a bucket ahead, right?

In this case, don't blame the coach for the stupidity of the player. Some things you just can't put on the coach. I thought Cutcliffe did a great job last night hanging with a much much better team

If Duke loses to bad teams but plays great against good teams then their players must take something before the game to boost their performance. It's more than a coincidence. It's probably the same all across the lower level teams where these situations keep occuring.
