It was likely going to be difficult getting a QB given the QBs already on the roster. So I'm thrilled with this.
I liked his deep throws on hudl!!!!!! Looks like a terrific athlete. WELCOME TO ND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good pickup. Love his fundamentals for a HS kid. Plays with poise. Seems a lot like Ian Book. The obvious concern is his size. Hoping they still pursue Hendon Hooker and that kid Tua from Hawaii. Although I think Tua is a long shot.
Love the pickup because he's the type of kid that can easily play another position if the QB depth chart is overly crowded. Has the body and speed to be a one heck of a slot receiver. Runs in the 4.5's, which is plenty fast enough. Notre Dame just keeps adding speed and athleticism to their offense and they're doing it with various body types. I really like the collection of talent on offense for ND in years to come.
I think he ends up at diff position for sure. How often you got QBS that run 4.5 and are 5'11. Not many cause they end up as receiver or DB which he'll end up being. Good athlete, if he had a more natural throwing motion maybe then he stays as QB but by the time he gets his chance unless he just "wows" right away, I think he ends up somewhere else. He won't stay on bench though. Pretty good pick up.
