The top 6 teams get out of the 3-day regional and advance to the main tourney in Oregon.

Latest update:

The women's tourney was dominated by the PAC-12 which not only has good teams but thrived on the conditions in the Pacific Northwest. The course in Eugene is very tight with greens the southern players will not be so used to. We'll see how this plays out over time. #1 seed Stanford had a rocky 1st day...

Here is how the big dance works:
3 rounds stroke play, each team counts the best 4 of their 5 players' scores.
After round three the 30-team field is cut to 15.
A fourth round of stroke play and the field is cut to the top 8.
The top 8 play match play, head-to-head by seeds. Quarters and semis are Day 5, title matches are Day 6 of the event.

It's a marathon!
