Have you all noticed the games on TV are sparse in both CFB and worse in Pro?

Cal last night was empty. SC vs Tenn is fairly light for such a big game. Never seen an empty UT

UNC was pretty light for us.

The Pitt vs NCST is only maybe 40%

The players are not as good as they once were. Plus, at the end everyone pretty much know's what's going to happen.

Seems like more parity than ever......Ticket prices, HDTV, DUI, etc....has to be something more to it....Is this the new norm.....people on boards, their phone, their homes.....moving to a virtual world.....

As usual, there's more empty seats than filled in Miami at their game vs. Georgia Tech. Crazy how empty the stadium is.

The rise in ticket prices imo are the biggest contributor. I've been watching ND/Miami tickets and they're still in the 100s. Last year I paid almost $200 for 50 yard line seats for Navy/ND before the season. By the time the game was played those same seats were $50. Lesson learned!

Football games are no longer about the students, they are advertisements for the University, and you have to pay them so they can bark at you.

Fan62 , I was just saying the same thing. I don't ever remember where game after game that the stadiums are so empty. I'm talking about empty stadiums where teams are ranked. Maybe they are finally out pricing people. There's so much tv coverage anymore , I guess fans figure why go when I can enjoy the game elsewhere

4K tv, people spending money at home with great seats and sound system. no one blocking your view. Food and drinks at very affordable prices. No lines to the bathroom. Free parking. Or spend $10 per drink, $20 on parking, $ 30 for food. $100 - $200 per seat, with block views, bad fan behaviour. Your pick, what would you do? Stay at home or go watch the game. Oh no traffic going home too as you are already there.

Watch the pro games tomorrow. As bad if not worse. That's probably due to the millionaires on one knee protesting how bad they have it in america. Could be the same thou. Costs and 4K and etc. I just hope it's not fear from the Vegas BS.

Cal's backyard is on fire right now. They almost canceled the game because of horrible air quality.

Yea. That's terrible. Tough year for the good ole USA.

USC and Utah got a good one going. Hope it goes 4 Qtrs, USC gets the win (gag) and takes some fight out of them.
