Meechie Walker. Holy cow….someone is chopping onions up in my house right now.
Basically a Michigan recruit(had scholarships from Kentucky and MSU but wanted to go to Michigan) was diagnosed with bone cancer before his junior or senior season of HS. Been battling it for a few years. Harbaugh catches wind of the condition and the fight that this kid is going through(had his leg amputated) and invites him out to practice and gets him involved with the team. Later invites him out to a game in October too to be in the locker room.
As big of a tool as Harbaugh can be he can sometimes be a really solid dude. It’s moments like that, that make sports special.
