Probably will fall a spot or two in the rankings. Keep on drinking the Kool-Aid clowns

Yes....how aweful we are....5-1, loss to #4 by 1 point....blow out on all other teams....I mean we should just pack it in coach crab.....we are so pathetic....how can we possibly win by more than the spread with a new QB in the rain.....We should be so much better....like at least 6-0....

ND is not responsible for the quality of the opponent.
You have to acknowledge the obvious difference in the athleticism, speed, strength and conditioning of the team. We have not seen that for many years. It widens the gap when it plays teams that are less talented. It becomes a second gap. That is reflected on the scoreboard.

They should be 7-0 after 6 games.

I'm as anxious as anyone to see what this team does the second half of the season with the big time schedule coming up.

But the OP must be a dope. ND has covered the spread in every game except for UGA. That's tough to do. Just sit down, shut up, and watch it all play out.

Aside from the slap at the end, it's true . ND 's offense was not impressive. Blaming the quality of the opponent , in my opinion, just doesn't answer it. Life gets Very tough from this point on.

Signed up this September just to troll? Mods?

That was a dominant win. Almost 500 yards with a first time starter, nearly 350 on the ground. ND held UNC to 13 first downs and three yards per rush (28 rushes for 86 yards).

It was a dominant win.
Dude. Stop it with the actual logic, data, facts, and valid points or you will be called a koolAid drinker and publicly flogged. ND should win by 63 every weekend like Alabama and Clemson do...oh wait...they don’t dominate every weekend? Clemson had a rough go vs Wake? Alabama had a very slow and sloppy time with a waaayyyy overrated FSU? Shut the front door?!?!

Can I be honest? F*** this guy. Williams didn't even play? The game plan was clearly "let's rest our stars and give them a week or two (even Adams played a half),"

How the season flies when you're having fun!! Redshirt freshman making his first start..not bad. Was it perfect? No. He left seven sure points at the end of the game but why humiliate them further?

So for so good.. Real test would come in a stretch after bye week.. We play 4 really good teams

USC
NC State
Miami
Stanford

Can we go 3-1 in that stretch?

If the Irish go 3-1 in that stretch that would make them 8-2, and who honestly thought the Irish would be 8-2 by week 11

Oh please, 33 points, 500 yds., on the road with the 2nd string QB. That's a very good showing. The team is better prepared this year. Better coached at each position and finally looks like they (team) know what they are doing. Book looked very, very good given the circumstances. You could argue he will give Wimbush a real competition for the QB job. All said, a good showing. They'll rank around 15 this week.

This guy who has crabs does the same thing every week. He never responds after throws out a bomb. That is the definition of a troll.

I don't think anyone with much honesty will make that argument. Wimbush is head and shoulders ahead of Book for the starters role. I will say though, that if Wimbush goes down, Book doesn't scare me if he has to come in in relief

For his first start, he definitely did some good things with his protection calls at the line especially with DMc in the game. He was late on a few reads early on but besides that, I didn't sweat much this game. With 2 weeks to prep for this difficult stretch of games, I'm hopeful BW can clean a few things up on his end and these WR's can create some semblance of separation to give teams an honest look. If I had to think about our Achilles heal at this point, it would be our special teams play.

If I had to pick an Achilles heel, it would be the safeties and Julian Love. That's the group that, if they start reacting more quickly, can really elevate our defense. Our front four play has actually (whodathunkit?) covered up some of their mistakes. What a difference getting pressure on the QB makes. I think they had like 15'hurries last night. NC had open receivers last night but the pressure made it impossible to find them. Elko has been a god send iyam.

What an imbecile. We're 5-1, chump. Deal with it.
Crab walker you remind me of what Lou Holts said first they complain you don’t win enough then when we win they complain that we don’t win by enough points . Fans are never happy period and you are exactly that
